SCUBASPA Ying is accompanied by its own dive boat, which serves as a floating dive centre. Based on decades of dive experience in the Maldives, the dive vessels have been specifically designed, for your comfort and relaxation for you to 'feel the connection' with the wonders beneath the surface, you need to establish a calm relaxed focus prior to your dive. On our dive boats you'll find this exceptionally easy. From the ample space and comfortable seating positions to the multi entry points, the stern platform, and the on-board toilet facilities. We want you to feel relaxed when gently immersing yourself into another world and being connected when 'living the dive' for a unique and deeply moving experience

ACCOMMODATION

On the lower deck there are 12 standard Sea Star cabins and 1 Cowrie Suite.

The middle deck has 3 Dolphin Suites and 5 Manta suites.

All cabins can be double or twin except the Dolphin suites which are doubles.

All cabins have en-suite (private) bathroom facilities and a main bed which is at least king size.

The Sea Star cabins and Cowrie Suite can be triple share.

The cabins on the lower deck all have portholes, while those on the middle deck have large panoramic windows.

The Manta suites are the largest on the boat.

All the cabins have:

Individual control air-conditioning

Bathroom with toilet and built-in hot water shower cubicle

Hand basin, toiletries and towels

Windows or portholes

Safety box

Reading lights

Bedside cabinet, shelves and mirror

Minibar (excludes Sea Star cabins)

Fire warning system

UK-style 3 pin 220V electricity, adaptor in cabin

Bedding and luggage space

Fire warning system, extinguishers in corridors

Sea star cabins

Our sumptuous and spacious Sea Star Cabins are all situated on the lower deck. Each one is air-conditioned and has its own en-suite shower room. All Sea Stars have a king-size double bed, some even benefiting from a third bed. Each cabin is generously fitted with two opening Portlights. We have taken great care in ensuring that every detail of the cabin design harmoniously intertwines with the selected materials to create something we hope you will truly enjoy.

Cowrie Suite

Our Cowrie suite nestles snugly in the bow of the lower deck. This uniquely individual suite has a shape all of its own. Not only does it have a king-size double bed but its size allowed us the luxury of fitting a sofa that can be transformed into a very comfortable third bed. As the Cowrie spans the width of the bow it benefits from having four opening Portlights. This lavish air-conditioned suite also has a truly jaw-dropping ensuite which houses the largest shower on-board … Go on, spoil yourself.

Dolphin Suite

Our beautifully designed Dolphin suites are placed on the main deck and are totally stunning. Not only do they have a ‘king-size’ double bed, but these majestic suites have been designed to also accommodate a seating area. The Dolphins with their gorgeous ensuites would be fabulous enough, but as we want you to truly experience the Maldives, even when you are in your room. To achieve this, we have placed huge three metre wide panoramic windows, set directly into the hull with no companionway outside, thus no foot traffic. Prepare your senses to be spoiled.

Manta Suites

Situated on the main deck the Manta suites are the largest rooms on-board. Most of these suites have a bed that can be used as twin beds or a “bigger-than-super-king” double bed. But don’t worry, when used as a double, there isn’t the unpleasant gap between the mattresses. With the very generous size, the superbly appointed seating area and the panoramic three metre wide window, the Mantas benefit from a feel of light and space you rarely find on any safari vessel. The huge windows are set into the hull so there is no companionway outside, giving you total privacy and apart from the occasional boat or sea bird your views will be uninterrupted.

We know you’ll be more than a little blown away!!
